Our strength classes focus on building muscle mass through structured resistance training. The Monday and Thursday classes target different muscle groups so the two sessions complement each other across the week. The workouts stay the same for 4 - 5 weeks to progressively overload the muscles targeted during that training block. Exercises can be modified to suit different training experience and abilities.
STRENGTH
Our cardio classes aim to improve cardiovascular fitness and overall training capacity.
The sessions use a variety of conditioning formats including AMRAPS (As Many Reps As Possible), circuits and intervals to improve your ability to maintain high training volumes and recover efficiently. The workout changes week to week and usually incorporates equipment such as ski-ergs, rowers and bikes.
CARDIO
Quick HIIT is a 30 minute High Intensity Interval session designed to fit a solid conditioning workout into a shorter session. Quick HIIT will challenge your cardiovascular fitness to repeatedly produce and recover from harder efforts.
Free for anyone with a recurring membership (Premium & 24/7)
QUICK HIIT
BoxFit is high-energy workout with a punch (literally!). These classes combine boxing fundamentals such as punches, footwork, padwork and combinations, with exercises to improve co-ordination and power. Previous boxing experience is not necessary.
It is recommend that you bring your own gloves/pads to prevent cross-contamination and maintain hygiene.
BOXFIT
Our Mums & Bubs class is designed to help you gently rebuild strength, confidence and connection with your body after having a baby. Whether you’re returning to exercise or just starting out, exercises can be adjusted to suit your stage of recovery and fitness level. Bring your bub (or toddler) along and enjoy a supportive environment where you can work on yourself. If you’re lucky enough to find a babysitter, you’re welcome to come along without your child for some dedicated “me time”.
MUMS & BUBS
Regular strength training is vital for older adults to build and maintain muscle mass, which supports bone and joint health and reduces the risk of age-related illness.
Our Over 60s strength classes focus on movements that become more challenging as we age such as getting up from a chair or carrying heavy shopping bags. We also include balance and coordination exercises to reduce risk of falls and help you move with confidence for years to come.
OVER 60s STRENGTH
As we age, our cardiovascular fitness naturally declines, making everyday tasks more tiring.
Adding a conditioning session to your week can help you maintain your independence and continue enjoying life for as long as possible.
Our conditioning classes are designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness and support your heart and lung health, helping you stay active and handle everyday tasks such as walking, climbing stairs and keeping up with the grandkids!
OVER 60s CARDIO
These classes are designed to help young people aged 10 - 16 build a positive relationship with exercise and develop good body awareness. We provide age-appropriate strength and conditioning training in a supportive and energising environment.
